Nýi ökuskólinn (The New Driving School) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ET ltd. Nýi ökuskólinn holds approval and licences from the Icelandic Traffic Board to teach approved courses for advanced driving permits for operating lorries, dumpsters, trailers, buses, taxis etc.
Nýi ökuskólinn is also approved and licensed by the Icelandic Administration of Occupational Safety & Health for teaching courses and conducting tests for obtaining permits to operate various machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, bulldozers etc.
Nýi ökuskólinn is particularly well equipped in teaching aids and most of the course material is presented in digital form. Practical training is conducted on relative new vehicles from the ET-fleet.
